Table Wiping and Court Conditions

**CAN A PLAYER WIPE THE TABLE?**

**Short Answer:** Yes, but only at designated times with permission.

**When Allowed:**
1. Between games (during 1-minute interval)
2. At change of ends in deciding game
3. When umpire grants permission for legitimate reason
4. During medical timeout or authorized break

**When NOT Allowed:**
- During a game between points
- To delay play tactically
- After every point
- Without umpire permission

**Proper Procedure:**
1. Player requests permission from umpire
2. Umpire assesses if legitimate need
3. If approved, player or court attendant wipes table
4. Uses approved towel or provided wiping cloth
